5. Bali
As international and domestic tourist destination, Bali has a lot of very interesting objects.
Bali lies between Java and Lombok. Denpasar is the capital of the province which is located in the southern part of the island. The majority of the population of Bali is Hindu. In the world Bali famous as a tourist destination with a unique variety of art-culture.
Scuba diving is one of the most popular activities Bali has to offer, and it is no surprise that divers from around the world enjoy exploring the many scuba dive sites around the island. Bali's dive sites offer outstanding variety, from vertical walls and sand slopes, shipwrecks, limestone shorelines, volcanic outcrops, peaceful bays, ripping currents and coral-covered ridges. Expect to see mantas and whale sharks from July through October. Some famous diving spots in bali are Tulamben Drop-off, Napoleon Reef, USAT Liberty, Blue Lagoon and Crystal Bay.
How to get there :
- By Sea
The main sea route is by ferry from the eastern tip of Java. Ferries leave Ketapang to Gilimanuk port, Bali every 15 to 30 minutes, 24 hours a day.
-By Air
If you want to travel by air, your point of entry and exit is the Ngurah Rai international airport of Denpasar. Many international airlines have daily flights to and from Bali. The airport is also well connected to the rest of Indonesia by the country's half-dozen domestic carriers. If flying to Bali from Europe, you may wish to consider Thai or Singapore airlines, which will involve a change of planes in Bangkok or Singapore, respectively. Flights from North America typically involve transits of Taiwan, Japan or Hong Kong.
