10. Lombok
Lombok Island is a small island located in the province of West Nusa Tenggara with Mataram As the provincial capital. Most of the developed tourism part of Lombok is on the west coastline of the small island which is centered about the township of Senggigi. The immediate surrounds of the township consist of the most improved tourism facilities. The west coast coastal tourism strip is get spread around a 30 km strip following the coastal street north from Mataram and Ampenan. Many hotels and resorts offer holiday accommodations which range from budget to luxurious. Right now direct fast boat services are already operating from Bali making a direct link to the Gili islands. Even though promptly transforming in character, the Gili islands nevertheless offer both a lay-back backpacker's retreat as well as a high end resort destination.
Lombok does not get too much attention like its greatly famous neighbor Bali. Nonetheless, a lot of Indonesians choose holidaying in Lombok over Bali island. Lombok gives a wide selection of diving and snorkeling activities on all the popular Dive Sites around the Gili Islands (Trawangan, Air and Meno). The Gilis Islands are an awesome dive location. The drop-offs, plateaus and slopes of the Gili’s represent a good cross-section of what Indonesia has to offer. At Gilis island you will be intrigued by turtles, White-tip Reef Sharks, Cuttlefish, Moray Eels, Angel Fish, Ghost Pipefish and more.
